Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his wife, Cristina Serra, have amicably separated after 30 years together. The split is described as “cordial, stable, and friendly.” The couple, who met in 1994 and married in 2014, drifted apart after spending extended periods in different countries due to Guardiola’s career commitments.

The couple have three children: Maria, 24, Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17. Serra has been living full-time in Barcelona with their youngest daughter, Valentina, while Guardiola resides in Manchester. A Brazilian journalist, Serra has been spotted with Guardiola at various events over the past year. She moved back to Barcelona in 2019 to work in her family’s fashion company, Serra Claret.

The decision to end their marriage was reportedly made in December, with only close friends and family initially aware of the separation. Those close to the couple have been asked to keep details private. Despite the personal upheaval, Guardiola recently extended his contract with Manchester City until 2027, dispelling rumors of his departure from the club.
