POLICE ARREST 16 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO DEFILED 7 YEAR OLD GIRL IN ONDO STATE

Ondo State police have confirmed the arrest of a 16 year old girl, Emeyinola Ayomide, for allegedly defiling a seven year old girl in Ode Irele the headquarters of Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The police revealed that the culprit who is named Ayomide took the little girl to a corner and dipped her finger into the seven year old girl’s private part, breaking her hymen.

The victim was said to be bleeding heavily and was quickly rushed to a private hospital where she was treated.

The police, however, said the command has been investigating the development to unravel the reasons the teenager was involved in such activity.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Femi Joseph , who confirmed the incident said the suspect had confessed to the crime after the arrest.

Joseph explained that the victim initially mentioned one Femi Odofin as being responsible for the dastardly act but she later named one Ayomide, who was later arrested.

A brother of the victim, Mr Taiwo Ilelaboye said he was the first person to observe that the little girl was bleeding from the private part, so he quickly rushed her to the hospital before inviting the police into the matter.
