A 29 year old man in Ngbo-Agbaja in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Fidelis Nwangele has been arrested by the police for allegedly defiling his four year old daughter in their house.
The child is currently suffering Vesco Virginia Fistula following injuries she sustained from the father while he was defiling her.
The incident caused a quarrel between the man and his wife and when the girl started urinating uncontrollably, the woman reported the matter to the police and Nwangele.
The suspect was arrested on the 11th of this month and the man was said to have denied ever having canal knowledge of the girl during an investigation. But Nwangele’s wife, Uzoamaka, and the girl told the police that the man committed the act.
The little girl is currently undergoing medical examination at the National Obstetric Fistula Centre (NOFIC) in Abakaliki to see what help they can render.
