Lagos state police command has confirmed the arrest of popular Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James popularly known as Baba Ijesha over the case of defilement of a 14 year old girl.
According to a tweet shared by the police on Twitter, the defilement case was reported against the actor on April 19, 2021, by a woman named, Princess Adekola Adekanya.
It was gathered that the popular 48 year old comic actor had been committing the shameful act against the minor since she was seven years old.
The Lagos state police explained further that Baba Ijesha was captured by a CCTV camera and that he has already confessed to the crime.
