President Buhari has pleaded with Nigerians especially those of above the age of 17 to make the forthcoming governorship and house of assembly elections better than the presidential and National Assembly polls.
The President also urged the electorate to come out in their numbers to exercise their civic right while bearing in mind that the Saturday’s election is close to the people.
In a message to Nigerians on Wednesday, President Buhari commiserated with the families of those that died as a result of violence in the presidential and National Assembly elections as well as those who sustained injuries during the exercise and appealed to the youths not to allow themselves be used as political thugs during the elections.
He used the medium to solicit support for APC gubernatorial candidates all around Nigeria saying that the party was guided by progressive ideals and will not disappoint the people.
He further adviced the people to be orderly during the elections and avoid every deviant behaviour such as ballot snatching, and any other action that does not conform with best electoral practices.
