President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, signed the 2019 Appropriation Bill.
The President’s assent officially makes the bill become law and signals the commencement of the 2019 fiscal year.
Some of the dignitaries present include, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Danjuma Goje; the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udo-Udoma; and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Ita Enang, were all present during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Udo Udoma had explained that details of the signed budget would be made available during a public presentation later on Tuesday.
