The President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta in a statement made in Nairobi, has confirmed that security forces have neutralised all four terrorists involved in the attack on a hotel complex and about 700 people have been safely evacuted on Wednesday.
Kenyatta has vowed to avenge the 14 “innocent” lives lost as Kenya is a country that never forgets, either good or bad, we would pay in your coin. In his speech, the President confirmed this saying, “We are a nation that never forgets those who hurt our children. We will pursue relentlessly those involved in the planning and execution of this attack”
He also thanked the good people of Kenya who took to social media to spread hope and criticise false information. He thanked them for putting up a show of bravery, patrioticism and love.
