Prof. Sule Mohammed, The Collation Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission at Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna confirmed that he has cancelled the results of a polling unit because the presiding officer ran away with the results.
Prof. Mohammed, who lectures at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, stated this while presenting the results of the LGA at the Kaduna State INEC office on Monday.
Reports have it that the presiding officer took the decision in order to protest non payment of his allowances. The details of the presiding officer has been given to security officers for investigation.
