Nollywood star Regina Daniels has announced that she has bought a new mansion in Lagos, even as rumors continue to swirl about a crisis in her marriage to businessman and politician, Senator Ned Nwoko. Sharing photos of the house on Instagram on Sunday, the actress wrote, “In my house, I am a Queen! Needed a roof over my head, so I got this for me and my family.”

Her post came days after a viral video surfaced online showing Regina in tears, claiming she had suffered violence in her marriage. In the video, she said, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. I can’t stand the violence anymore; it’s too much.”

Senator Nwoko quickly denied the allegations of domestic violence, instead accusing Regina of struggling with drug and alcohol abuse. In a statement, he said her substance use had caused tension in their home, alleging that she recently turned violent, attacked three of his staff members, and destroyed property within two days.

Nwoko added that he had advised Regina to continue rehabilitation either in Asokoro or abroad, saying it was for her own safety and wellbeing. He further accused her of neglecting their son, Moon, during a health emergency, and of threatening a nurse who allegedly exposed her drug use.

The politician also mentioned two people identified as Sammy and Ann whom he accused of supplying drugs to the actress and fueling chaos in his home. “Regina must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life,” he said, insisting that he has never been violent in his marriage. The actress has not yet responded publicly to her husband’s claims.
