Nigerian Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka said Nigerians won’t quit requesting to rebuilding of the Nigerian alliance.

This was said by Soyinka in an interview on the Channels Television program titled “Roadmap 2023.”

The veteran’s comment comes before the May 29 inauguration of the new administration.

Soyinka stated that the President-Elect’s government, led by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, must refocus on the persistent calls for restructuring or face serious obstacles to its programs and policies.

“Whose it is must understand that the people of this country will not cease demanding a restructuring of this nation,” he stated.

“New voices are being heard and they are more remarkable than previously. They are voices based on actual events, not just whining voices. They are saying, “Let us try in this direction,” and you cannot ignore it. We have failed in numerous ways.

Otherwise, your infrastructure and transformation, as well as your economic policies, will fail. We will simply return to threading the same spur.

Soyinka claims that the recent elections have thrown off a pattern.

Keep in mind that there have been a number of calls for the Nigerian federation to be restructured in a way that will bring the government closer to the people at the grassroots.
