Mr Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transport and Direction-General of Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ondo State to unite in other to defeat the opposition party in forth coming election.
Amaechi made this known during the presidential campaign rally in Akure on Tuesday. According to him, the only way the party can win in the coming election and give and win votes for the President in the state is by uniting so that they can defeat the opposition and win in all the election.
He further adviced them not to fight themselves but unite and defeat the common enemy, Peoples Democracy Party(PDP) in the coming election. In his own words he said “You must unite as a team under your governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu”.
He went on braging that the PDP will not do anything for country and he insisted that they will only spend four years to recover what they have lost. He admoinished members of the APC not to quarrel with anybody but unite to win.
The minister, therefore, urged the people of the state to re-elect President Buhari so that they could enjoy the dividends of democracy under APC-led administration. He promised the people of the state, particularly the people of Akure, that construction of railway would go through the town and it would create job opportunities for people. Unity was all that was spoken about at the gathering.
