On Sunday evening, the Nigerian and South African housemates of The Big Brother Titans held their first live eviction show, and two housemates were forced out.
The show’s first evictees were Sandra and Theo Traw, who went by the alias “Santheo.”
Theo Traw is from South Africa, whereas Sandra is from Nigeria.
The male and female housemates were paired after the first week of the show.
The paired housemates were supposed to work together in the house, become Heads of House, and face nominations and evictions together, according to Big Brother.
Each pair was given a codename, and some of them came up with their group names by combining their individual names.
On Monday, the following couples were put up for possible eviction during the nomination process: Tsatsii and Ebubu (Royals), Justin and Yvonne (Juvone), Nelisa and Yemi Cregx (Yelisa), and Sandra and Theo Traw (Santheo).
Using their veto power, Blaqboi and Ipeleng (Blaqleng), the Heads of House, had the opportunity to save two people and replace them with another.
Blaqleng saved the Royals and brought in Juicy Jay and Olivia (Juiovla) to take their place.
Juvone, Yelisa, Santheo, and Juiovla were the four pairs of nominated housemates following the veto save twist.
Santheo received the fewest votes among the fans, so they were kicked off the show on Sunday.
Sandra commented, “I was stepping on toes and cracking necks,” while Theo Traw stated, “I didn’t get much from them (housemates) in terms of trying to have conversations” as he left.
After Sandra and Theo Traw’s exit, 22 contestants, including 11 Nigerians and 11 South Africans, will compete for the $100,000 grand prize.
