Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, has supposedly been offered more than £100million to coach Saudi Arabia in a two-year bargain which would make him the highest paid manager ever.
Al-Nassr, the club of Cristiano Ronaldo, is interested in Mourinho because the team’s current manager, Rudi Garcia, is likely to leave at the end of the season.
The Portuguese player, who is 60 years old, signed with Roma in 2021, and his current deal with the giants of Serie A lasts until 2024.
However, disagreements regarding transfers and dissatisfaction with Roma’s performance this season have occurred.
Mourinho has been directly approached by “top management” to lead the Saudi Arabian team, with his future at the Italian club still uncertain.
As indicated by Corriere dello Game, the arrangement incorporates £52 (€60m) every year and two choices for Mourinho.
The contract could be terminated at the conclusion of the first season or extended until the North American World Cup in 2026.
