Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the music mogul, has been placed on suicide watch at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits trial for multiple serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. The 54-year-old was arrested in Manhattan after a months-long federal investigation, with authorities citing concerns about his mental state.

Combs’ arrest follows a series of lawsuits over the past year, accusing him of physical and sexual abuse. Despite the gravity of the charges, Combs has denied many of the allegations. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, stated that Combs intends to plead not guilty, vowing to fight for his release from custody.

The indictment against Combs portrays him as the leader of a criminal enterprise involved in sex trafficking, forced labor, and drug-related crimes. It also accuses him of orchestrating violent acts against women, with the help of his staff, to conceal his actions.

One of the most notable cases against Combs came from his former girlfriend, singer Cassie, who accused him of years of abuse. While the lawsuit was quickly settled, video footage later surfaced, showing Combs assaulting her, to which he issued a public apology. However, Combs continues to deny similar claims made by other accusers.
