The Senate, on Thursday, considered a bill looking to stop managers in the private and public areas from drawing in employable Nigerian graduates as casual workers.
The Prohibition of Casualization Bill 2020, is supported by Senator Ayo Akinyelure (PDP-Ondo Central).
Akinyelure, while referring to the financial business, said banks transform female marketers into whores and sexual slaves in a frantic endeavour to make them meet colossal targets.
The Senator saw that casualization of graduates in the Nigerian work market has gotten a subject of incredible worry to everybody.
Akinyelure said more workers keep on moaning under the strategy of reducing expenses by businesses delivering them second rate compared to their partners in different nations.
Senator Biodun Olujimi (PDP – Ekiti South) upheld Akinyelure’s perception of banks.
Olujimi said numerous young ladies have been transformed into what can’t be envisioned.
Taking note of that profit must be made, she said it doesn’t empower banks to misuse their staffs
Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, charged the Committee on Employment, Labor and Productivity to find some kind of harmony to guarantee those casual workers are not made casualties of layoffs.
