The Court of Appeal has unseated Senator Ishaku Abbo, the incumbent representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in the National Assembly. The verdict, delivered in Abuja, effectively nullified Senator Abbo’s election, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The development was confirmed by Senator Abbo himself to reporters. According to the ruling, the court has upheld the election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Amos Yohanna.
This decision marks a significant turn of events in the political landscape of Adamawa North Senatorial District.
