Another misfortune has stirred things up around town African music scene, as rapper Costa Titch kicks the bucket performing in front of an audience.
Costa Tsobanoglou, the musician, is said to have collapsed while performing at the Ultra music festival on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
Costa, who was born in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, in 1995 and is also a dancer, is best known for his hits Nkalakatha and Activate.
The fresh insight about Costa Titch’s demise was affirmed by diversion observer Phil Mphela on Twitter not long before 12 PM and was trailed by a line of solemn responses from industry partners.
Junior Da Rocka, a fellow musician, and Julius Malema, the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), are among those who appear to make reference to the rapper’s passing.
Fans of music are still reeling from the death of Costa Titch’s fellow rapper AKA, whose real name was Kiernan Forbes. The South African Police Service (SAPS) is still conducting an investigation into the incident in which he was shot outside of a Durban restaurant by unidentified assailants. It’s interesting to note that the song Super Soft was written by Costa Titch and AKA together.
