Sports Minister Urges Super Eagles to Channel 2013 Spirit in Clash Against Cote d’Ivoire

Senator John Owan Enoh, the Minister of Sports Development, has called on the Super Eagles to revive the spirit of their 2013 triumph by securing a victory against Cote d’Ivoire in Thursday’s match. The Eagles famously defeated the Ivorian team 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the 2013 AFCON in South Africa.

In a statement issued by the Special Assistant to the Minister of Media, Kola Daniel, Enoh urged the team to bounce back from their recent 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea by triumphing over their hosts.
