Ondo State’s governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has urged residents to prevent the south’s bid for the presidency from failing.
According to Akeredolu, since the North had served as president for eight years, the South would now take over.

He went on to say that Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’ presidential candidate, was widely regarded as a success in the upcoming election.
At the APC Ondo North Senatorial campaign rally in Owo, Akeredolu made the call.

If Tinubu were to be elected president, the governor promised that the country would prosper under his leadership.
He made sense of that no measure of contrivances and intrigue could leave the triumph of the party’s official up-and-comer, adding that Tinubu was a man whose opportunity had arrived.

“Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu is tried and regarded with confidence. We know how he transformed Lagos during his time as governor. He stated, “I can assure you that Nigeria will advance under Tinubu’s presidency.”

From Tinubu to the House of Assembly candidates, the governor urged the populace to vote for the APC.

Akeredolu urged the people of Owo, Ose, and Akoko to cast a large number of votes for the party’s senatorial candidate, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba. He also said that if he was elected, his experience working in the private sector would help him fulfill his mandate.
Additionally, he urged people to rally behind the party’s candidates for the House of Representatives.

The governor claimed that the House of Representatives candidates Mr. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, Timehin Adelegbe, and Asiwaju Adegboyega Adefarati would provide high-quality representation to the residents of their federal constituency.
Additionally, Akeredolu supported the senatorial district candidates for the state House of Assembly.
