In the midst of approaches made to him by certain sectarians to fabricate an Administration of Public Solidarity, GNU, President-elect, Asíwájú Bola Tinubu, said yesterday he has a higher desire, which is to frame an Administration of Public Skill, GNC.

Tinubu said in a statement yesterday in Abuja that appointments would not be determined by religion, ethnicity, or any other similar factors. However, he said he would make sure that women and young people are fully integrated.
Salihu Lukman, the party’s National Vice Chairman for the North-West, made the call for religious balancing in the new administration on Friday. He said that with a Muslim president and vice president, it was necessary to replace Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, with a Christian.

In a similar vein, Lukman argued in favor of the South East/South South zoning of the Senate President’s office and the consideration of such sensitivity when making important appointments to the SGF’s office and other positions.

Nevertheless, Tinubu stated: I accept the responsibility that lies before me as your incoming president. There has been talk of a united national government. My objective is higher. I want a government with national authority.

“I will not be weighed down by considerations unrelated to ability and performance when selecting my government.” Political scheming is a thing of the past. In order to construct a Nigeria that is safer, more prosperous, and more just, I will gather competent adults, children, and young people from all over Nigeria.

There will be youngsters present. Women will take center stage.

Whether your confidence drives you to supplicate in a congregation or mosque won’t decide your place in government. Competence and character will.

The safety and prosperity of our nation must be our top priorities. These objectives cannot be sacrificed for political expediencies. The requirements of governance must take precedence over political whims.

“We need to construct roads and bridges not only to facilitate commerce and travel, but also to bring people of various faiths, political parties, and perspectives together for productive dialogue and a common goal. Not only do we need to feed our families to end hunger, but we also need to nurture enlightenment, civic responsibility, and compassion.

“We need to create jobs not only to employ people but also to provide everyone with a better standard of living, which will improve families, communities, and democracy. We have water to renew to extinguish actual thirst as well as to light a hunger for imaginative and improved answers for society’s difficulties.

“We have a country to safeguard with the end goal that we kill risk and, surprisingly, the feeling of dread toward risk. In the light of peace and growing prosperity, may all of our people live happily ever after.

He claims that the Supreme Court’s decision on the parity of old and new notes is a significant step toward restoring economic normalcy.

He stated, ” The rule of law and economic decency are both restored by this. But the story does not end here. It is only the beginning of a larger strategy to address our economic problems.
