The yearly award, Nigeria Entertainment Conference (NECLive), NET honours, which was held recently recognised the two musicians as they bagged the awards for the most searched and most popular male and female musicians respectively.
Tiwa came out on top on a list that has stars such as Seyi Shay, Simi, Teni, Yemi Alade and DJ Cuppy in the female category while Wizkid surpassed stars such as Burna Boy, 2baba, Banky W, Davido and Olamide in the male category.
Other stars who were also honoured at the award section of the yearly entertainment conference include, Odunlade Adekola who emerged as the most searched male actor while Mercy Aigbe won the Most Searched and Most Popular actress at the event.
The award for the Most popupar Media Personalty was given to the late media personality, Tosyn Bucknor.
