The Nigerian Police Force Criminal Investigation Department in Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos, has confirmed the arrest of individuals in connection with an alleged attempt to kidnap Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage.
CSP Oluniyi Ogundeyi, spokesperson for the department, revealed the news to reporters on Saturday in Lagos.
Reports suggest that the attempted kidnapping was planned by Savage’s new domestic staff, who shared vital information about the musician with other members of the alleged kidnapping gang.
However, the singer’s private security and the Nigerian police foiled the plot and saved her from the suspects. The department has four suspects in custody.
