Trapped: Workers feared dead as seven-storey building crumbles in Banana Island

Yesterday, a seven-story building in Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos State collapsed, trapping an unknown number of workers inside. According to reports, the currently under construction building collapsed around 5:00 p.m., but the reason for the collapse was still unknown as of this writing.

Even though the cause of the collapse is still unknown, a source stated that concreting was taking place on the sixth floor prior to the incident.
