Donald Trump has declared victory in the US presidential election, setting the stage for a historic return to the White House, becoming the first former president in over 130 years to do so. Speaking to excited supporters in Florida, Trump vowed to usher in a “new golden age for America.”

Trump has taken a commanding lead in key battleground states, including Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia, with Wisconsin and Michigan also leaning in his favor. This puts him on course for an election win, though final results are still pending in some areas.

While Trump has secured conservative states from Florida to Idaho, Kamala Harris has won traditional liberal strongholds such as New York and California. Trump’s party is also projected to take control of the Senate, strengthening his position for the next four years.

Despite Trump’s early declaration, the race remains close in Arizona, and Harris has yet to make a public appearance following the latest updates.
