The University of Ibadan Muslim Graduates Association (UIMGA) recently recognized prominent figures like Vice President Kashim Shettima and Senators Sharafadeen Alli and Yunus Akintunde for their unwavering support to the university’s Muslim community and outstanding contributions to society. This distinguished honor, part of an array of accolades celebrating 21 individuals, commends their remarkable accomplishments, ambassadorial roles, and contributions to both the university and Nigeria.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, acknowledged for his exceptional leadership and dedication, attributed his success to the foundational values instilled during his time studying political science at the University of Ibadan. Represented by his Special Assistant, Shettima emphasized the pivotal role of education and collaborative efforts in steering the nation toward a prosperous future.
