Five pastors of the popular Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) have been abducted while on their way to attend a Ministers’ Conference of the church in Lagos.
The General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor E.A Adeboye announced the kidnapping on Friday while addressing members of the church at the Redeemed Camp situated along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Adeboye, spoke further, saying the act occurred on Thursday along the Ijebu-Ode axis of the road. He urged members of the church to pray for the abductees to be released.
Pastor Adeboye, further said that this was the first time that such an incident of this scale would be happening.
