Ailing Nollywood veteran actor, Ojo Arowosafe aka Fadeyi Oloro, has been discharged from the hospital after eight months.
Fadeyi Oloro had been struck by complications from tuberculosis in March 2019. All efforts to get help were reportedly futile, except for a little donation and once visit from Ekiti State government, his state of origin.
Not until a Lagos politician, Augustine Adeoye, came to his rescue when doctors attending to him reportedly began taking him serious.
Adeoye, the chairman of Agbado/Okeodo LCDA, Lagos, reportedly called his hospital and asked his bills, which he paid in excess and even followed up on his progress.
While on a thank you visit to Adeoye on Wednesday with his colleagues, Fadeyi Oloro, who expressed his appreciation for the politician’s rare gesture, recounted his experience.
