Wizkid Mourns the Passing of Mother: Music Community and Fans Rally with Condolences


Nigerian music icon Ayodeji Balogun, widely recognized by his stage name Wizkid, is currently grappling with profound sorrow following the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun. The unfortunate event unfolded around 1:30 a.m. on Friday, leaving a deep void in his heart.

Sunday Are, the steadfast manager who has stood by Wizkid’s side for years, conveyed the heart-wrenching news to the press. In his somber announcement, he disclosed that Mrs. Balogun departed this world during the early hours of Friday. This loss resonates beyond Wizkid’s life, as Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun was not only a cherished mother to Wizkid but also a doting parent to two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
