Woman Sparks Public Outrage As She Shreds Husband’s Passport

A shocking incident took place at Lagos Airport on Saturday when a woman, in a fit of rage, tore up her husband’s international passport shortly after they returned from abroad. The dramatic scene, which unfolded in front of stunned onlookers, has sparked widespread condemnation and calls for legal action.

When questioned about her actions, the enraged woman retorted, “Is it your passport?” She then dismissed her husband, saying, “If you want to sleep there, sleep there. This is Nigeria, this is where you will be,” as she led their children away from the scene.

Airport officials attempted to calm the situation, advising the husband to remain silent and not react to his wife’s outburst. The woman’s actions have been criticized as both a distressing public spectacle and a serious crime, given that passports are considered government property.
